CoHMed: Connected Health in Medical Mountains

With its research focuses on medical technology, medicine and human health, Furtwangen University (HFU) forms the foundation of the CoHMed research and innovation partnership.

i_city: Partnership for urban research

The i_city partnership is intended to provide targeted networking for HFT (Hochschule für Technik) Stuttgart with companies and municipalities from the Stuttgart metropolitan region. The aim is to develop a sustainable urban development plan with innovative energy systems as well as information and communication solutions. Sustainable district and building concepts are then to be derived from these overarching concepts.

LaNDER³: Lusatian Natural Fibre Composites - Decentralized Energy, Raw Materials, Resources, Recycling

The strategic LaNDER³ partnership is a consortium comprising Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) and primarily regional companies and promotes the sustainable and efficient use of renewable raw materials. The aim is to optimise all the process steps in the life cycle of composite materials and supply them with energy internally by converting by-products into energy.

M²Aind: Multimodal Analytics and Intelligent Sensorics for the Healthcare Industry

The M²Aind innovation partnership is a consortium comprising Hochschule Mannheim and numerous healthcare companies and develops practical solutions for the industry in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region.

Plasma for Life: Plasma technologies from southern Lower Saxony

The Plasma for Life partnership is supported by HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen. The partnership bundles the potential of two key technologies – laser and plasma – in the fields of surface technology, radiation sources, fluid processing, materials processing and plasma medicine.

ruhrvalley: Mobility and Energy for Metropolitan Change

Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (project coordination), Bochum University of Applied Sciences and Westphalian University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen have joined forces with numerous companies to form the ruhrvalley research partnership.

The SmartPro partnership is coordinated by Aalen University and addresses two challenges: the careful use of limited resources (materials and raw materials) and the sustainable and climate-friendly use of energy.

The X-Energy partnership is coordinated by HAW Hamburg and focuses on the development fields of energy and sustainability. Through strategic collaboration with regional and supra-regional companies in the renewable energy sector, HAW Hamburg hopes to implement the leading centre for the development of innovative solutions for the sustainability of the energy system, thereby enhancing its profile as an innovation driver of the Hamburg metropolitan region.
